Oris was founded in 1904 and since then the company never stopped producing watches. 2014 Oris will celebrate its 110 years. To start this year’s birthday coverage I met Ulrich Herzog for dinner in Munich yesterday and I taped this interview.
Ulrich is a charismatic entrepreneur and a man that has clear visions for his brand he acquired through a management buyout in 1982. Since then he owns the majority of shares and since then he is the mastermind behind Oris.
Oris today has no debts, it´s a vital Swiss family business…
