Officine Panerai – Interview with CEO Angelo Bonati – SIHH 2015

Angelo Bonati, CEO Officine Panerai

I invite you to listen to an emotional interview with Angelo Bonati. He gave me some insights about the future of the Mare Nostrum in the collection. Do also not miss the lovely pictures I took…

This morning I had an appointment with Angelo Bonati at 10:00. We started the interview, but then all the sudden this happened: Johann Rupert, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Compagnie Financière Richemont SA, and his son Anton Rupert come to the booth. We interrupt our interview and Mr. Bonati tours Mr. Rupert and his son at the Panerai booth here at the SIHH in Geneva.

I was following Mr. Rupert´s short visit at the Panerai booth and I can tell you Mr. Rupert very much liked what he saw.

After some ten minutes Angelo Bonati and I restarted our interview.

For all you Paneristi and Panerai-lovers out there I do tell you that it is worth listening to this conversation.

  • Thank you Alexander for the nice interview. I hoped for more new materials in the regular production models like more bronze and ceramic in 44 and 45 mm models instead of 47-48-52 mm. So 2015 brings us nice Panerai Pictures and interesting ‘haute couture’ but nothing to lust for the average PAM buyer.
