Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Laptimer Michael Schumacher – a high tech chronograph never seen before…

Here come just the first pictures of the new Audemars Piguet watch. The full story will go online tomorrow during the day. After the launch event at Corinna Schumacher’s CS-Ranch close to Nyon at the lake of Geneva it is simply to late to work on the entire story now.  Apologies for that!

In brief this is a stunning chronograph for the wrist that works like a real laptimer. Michael Schumacher initiated the project before his accident and it took AP five years to develop the watch. Now, with the full support of the Schumacher family, AP presented the chronograph tonight…

You can measure two events simultaneously and compare the times …

And this is the brain behind the watch:

The full story and more pictures will follo tomorrow.
Good night from Geneva to everyone!

Maybe it’s just my browser, (Firefox), but the images are all Superbig and cut-off. Thanks for the post though.

    1. I know, this is due to the fact that I produced the post with my iPhone and there is no way of uploading the pictures in the right size with the mobile WordPress-App… In a few moments I´ll have the full story online…

Nice. Very nice. I like it.

Not that I could ever afford to have one grace my wrist though. 🙁

Interesting to see that they were not able to insert the screw heads in the bezel ring correctly 🙂
