Baselworld 2013 … These are the Breitling novelties

Breitling now launches all the in-house calibers in the Breitling for Bentley collection. Please discover these new watches here …

You all know that Breitling has made some huge efforts in the last years to build own “engines”. But the launch of the chronograph calibre “01” was just the beginning. Meanwhile we have seen the Unitime- and GMT-version and now Breitling adds the 30-seconds-chronograph. All the in-house calibers are now finally available for the Bentley-collection. Something, to be honest, that has been awaited by many of the Breitling collectors.

The Breitling for Bentley B06 30-Second-Chronograph

It is distinguished by its ingenious “30-second chronograph” system, inspired by a Breitling patent dating from 1926 and based on a central hand sweeping around the dial in half a minute – thereby ensuring extremely accurate 1/8th second time readings.

In my opinion the most horrible new Breitling models. When the word understatement comes to mind, Breitling loses once again. Navitimer’s an awesome watch, the Transocean (Chronograph) even more, Superocean Heritage is an classic like all the Navitimers, but this is cheap looking chinese crap which you could buy at any ‘Beach AD’ for $29.99…
