Baselworld 2013… The Bvlgari novelties

The Bvlgari Bvlgari and Bvlgari Roma watches are back. The iconic timepieces appear with fresh design, colors and materials.

The legend of theses watches goes back to the year 1975 when Bvlgari offered its best clients a limited edition digital watch as a christmas gift engraved with the inscription Bvlgari Roma. One year later Bvlgari launched the Bvlgari Roma watch in a yellow gold case exclusively sold at the boutique in Rome to its best customers. Again one year later, in 1977, the today famous Bvlgari Bvlgari watch was born. The engraved Bvlgari Bvlgari logo was integrated as an important element of design for the first time on a high-end watch.

“The overnight success of Bvlgari Bvlgari propelled the watch into the pantheon of instant classics”, I was told in Basel.

In 2013 the legendary Bvlgari Bvlgari watch comes back in a 41 mm steel or pink gold case. The 250-piece limited pink gold edition of the Bvlgari Roma watch measures 39 mm in diameter.
