Baselworld 2013 preview: Hublot Classic Fusion Classico Ultra-Thin

Hublot known for its huge watches introduces refined, thin watches with an in-house hand-wound movement.

A hand-wound movement encourages daily contact with the pleasantly ticking timekeeper (some say: It´s like having sex with your watch. 🙂 ) and also permits the use of a flat case. This is nothing really new for us aficionados, but obviously something new for Hublot. The brand now seems to want to attract also lovers of more decent cases and looks.

The look of the new Hublot Classic Fusion Classico Ultra-Thin is still very Hublot-like and if one likes it, these watches could be his next choices …

The case of the Hublot Classic Fusion Classico Ultra-Thin has a diameter of 45 mm, its manual caliber “HUB 1300” measures 2,9 mm in height, so also the case itself is quite flat.

Versions in red gold and titan are available … The prices of the Hublot Classic Fusion Classico Ultra-Thin start at 10.500 Euros for the version in Titan and end at 24.200 Euros for the version in red gold.

I also assume that these newHublot-watches will be a first choice of many stylish women … We could now bet if more women or men are going to buy the watch … 🙂

  • What a pitty Hublot did not provide pictures showing the side of the watch. After all, that’s what is interesting! The look from the top is in line with the design we know from Hublot, so nothing new there. I personally thing the price is very steep, considering alternatives in the market. What does the “fusion” stand for?
