If you read the title don’t let yourself get confused. This Hermès watch has nothing to do with Emails, this definitively is not a smartwatch. Email is the french word for enamel. The dial of the Slim d’Hermès is made out of enamel. Donzé Cadrans in Le Locle, Switzerland´s number one enamel dial maker, did a series of bright white dials for Hermès.
Let me tell you that this Slim d’Hermès looks gorgeous!

The extreme simplicity of this watch conveys a movement towards essentials in a rigorous, beautifully balanced manner.
Slim d’Hermès, designed by Philippe Delhotal, Creative Director of La Montre Hermès, testifies to the graphic approach of the house through the original typography created by Philippe Apeloig to mark the hours. The light, airy outline of the numerals imparts a lively rhythm that gives time a pleasing cadence.
The 39,5 mm-diameter model is powered by the Manufacture Hermès H1950 ultra-thin movement. The integration of a micro-rotor serves to slim down this self-winding calibre that only measures 2.6 mm.
Like the other models from the Manufacture, this movement is adorned with the “sprinkling of H” motif, while the bridges are hand-bevelled in keeping with watchmaking traditions.
A sapphire crystal case-back affords a glimpse of the details conveying this expertise. Time is displayed in its simplest expression showing only the hours, minutes and seconds.
It is a limited edition of 100 pieces. The watches are numbered and will be sold for 19.400 Euro including 19 % VAT.

This is indeed a special Hermes watch, i feel free to call it a dresswatch, i love the way Hermes made the lugs with that little bend on top. Good to see the movement and the mini rotor.
