Stéphane Linder has decided today to resign from his role of President & CEO of TAG Heuer to pursue other professional endeavors. Will Guy Sémon follow him?
Jean-Claude Biver thanks Stéphane for his outstanding contribution to the development of the brand during the 21 years he spent at TAG Heuer. Jean-Claude Biver will act as a CEO during this transition period.
So far the official TAG Heuer statement…
Now my guess … 🙂
I personally assume that Guy Sémon will follow him as President & CEO of TAG Heuer
After only 18 month at the helm he is leaving. Here is a company which is in dire need to catch up with the likes of Omega. It seems to me that that they have an execution problem with the new in house movement.
Sad news for Tag and their employees with the loss of Mr Linder and the repositioning of the company.
Alexander, personally I don’t see Guy at the helm of the brand.
He is a pure and very bright engineer with a strong character. I don’t see him working as head of a brand like this, especially with Mr. Biver. Just my two cents
We will see
We will see … Guy Sémon could easily do the job the and to Biver he has the best possible relationship.
Maybe Stephane Linder did “Crack under pressure”?
Could be 🙂
In which way TAG Heuer is going to change?
Well, I guess he’s not happy about the decision to cancel Ch80 and limit TAG’s future in the high end!
And many more reasons probably. Fact is TAG Heuer will change with or without him…
