Breguet: Restoring historical timepieces of Breguet

Jeff Kingston visits Breguet in Switzerland. We have the unique opportunity to learn more about historical timepieces of Breguet.
When you talk about Grande Complications you are talking about the greatest challenges in watchmaking, and for a modern watch that is certainly true. But for a watch made 200 years ago the challenge is even greater. That is what is undertaken at Breguet in the Grande Complications Workshop, because they will restore any watch made during the history of Breguet, which dates all the way back to 1765 when watchmaker Abraham Louis Breguet began his workshop on the Quai de l’Horloge in Paris. In the workshop you get to see two pieces that date from Abraham Louis Breguet’s lifetime. Learn more about the process of restoration of pieces this old and the timepieces of Breguet.
