For the 27th time Omega will be the official timekeeper at Olympic Games. The Rio 2016 Games will start the 5th of August and last until the 21st. The six Omega watches are already available today…
Omega has been Official Timekeeper at almost every Olympic Games since 1932. The accurate and reliable technology Omega and the Swatch Group (through Swiss Timing) bring to the Games in Rio is impressive. With the addition of the Paralympic Games and the Youth Olympic Games, Omega is tasked with measuring 28 international summer sports (or 7 winter sports) simultaneously. But it is not only the timing, it is also the entire data handling and the presentation of the results all around the place in Rio and the entire world. There is more to come in the next days …
Today I “simply” want to show you the six limited Rio 2016 editions made by Omega as a tribute to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Omega Olympic Official Timekeeper Collection Limited Edition
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Rio 2016 Limited Edition along with Omega Speedmaster Mark II Rio 2016 Limited Edition look great as well as these watches are quite affordable, but both these Omegas are limited editions and would be difficult to acquire.
On the other hand Omega Seamaster Bullhead Rio 2016 is one of the ugliest watches created by Omega.
Agreed! Both Mark II and Diver 300 are stunning but the Bull Head is ugly as hell, even uglier on the wrist.
I wish the prices were listed in Dollars, also with a link to purchase them.Omega alwways put’s out very nice commerative pieces.
I find it sort of a shame that the only way you know it is a Rio Edition is by being in the know and recognizing the color schemes or by seeing the back. I assume they all have the Rio back.
Then again, my Oris Williams F1 doesn’t have any designation of being a special edition either.
Still, very attractive watches, especially the Bullhead.
