Easter is around the corner… Let me present you six new Flik Flak watches that woo for the valuable space on your kids wrists.

Flik Flak Jake and The Never land Pirates € 45,-

Flik Flak, the Swiss made kids watch, to put it simply, is the matter of personal importance to your blogger. Why? Click on “read more” to get the answer…

We are watch-collectors and -aficionados and we do therefore have a personal responsibility: We should do everything possible to get or kids interested in watches. It is not a smartphone that should tell them the time, it is a watch, no matter which type, but a classical watch that should do so.

Guys, I am serious about that issue, since I see more and more young people running around with no wristwatch.

Be honest, in our world that’s no future perspective for them!

Kids should know how to read the time from an analog watch and they should wear a watch. That’s part of our culture and the latest trends should not again step by step start killing the wristwatch.

As much you adore watches today, you kids should later act the same way. Let them enjoy what we like so much, watches are wonderful objects and not only showing the time.

Fill your kids with enthusiasm and try to attract their attention for a wristwatch as early as possible…

Easter is just around the corner and Easter could be a good opportunity to give a Flik Flak to your kids.

Please think about it before buying something probably useless…

These are the six newest Swiss made Flik Flak models… they are wooing for the valuable place on the wrists of your kids 🙂

How old is Flik Flak?

Flik Flak, the most widely sold watch for children worldwide, has been giving time to the world’s youth since 1987. It’s the first brand of children’s watches to have made learning to tell the time both easy and fun.

To whom belongs Flik Flak?

Flik Flak is a brand of the Swatch Group. As you know the largest manufacturer and distributor of watches in the world, with 160 production sites in Switzerland.

Swiss made?

Flik Flak watches are resistant to shocks, water and scratches thanks to their plastic glass. The watches are manufactured in Switzerland in colored plastic materials with a polishable plastic glass. Their precision comes from their Swiss-made quartz movement. Those with a fabric strap can be machine-washed at a temperature of up to 40ºC.

I got a FlikFlak Dinosaur for my daughter for her 5th birthday last year. I have now ordered the pirate one above. She loves dinosaurs and pirates!

I still have fond memories of my first Swatch, you can’t start them early enough 🙂

If I had children or grandchildren, nieces or nephews of the appropriate age, they would certainly get Flik Flac from me on their birthday/Christmas/whenever.

Yes, I know that this is a huge problem for the watch industry . In another watch forum that I also visit, a University Professor said that in his class ,out of 100 students, only one or two wear watches. The Cell Phone (Smart Phone) is responsible for this.So everyone listen to Alexander and buy your children watches . However I don’t feel that this will guarantee that they won’t still ditch their watches in the future for a Smart Phone. The high end watches will always have a market though because they are not worn for telling the time but for other reasons. It’s the lower end watches that I feel are more so in danger of becoming extinct in the future.

You are very welcome Alexander and if I may I would also like to add that I feel naked if I do not have a watch on my wrist. The first thing that I do when I get up in the morning after getting dressed is to put my watch on and it stays on me until I go to sleep at night time.

p.s. I never leave home without it , lol
