As a Rolex owner, I’m only happy with this appointment. I’ll be watching closely to see what Dufour can do with Rolex. My hopes are high!

I think a great move for both and I do sincerely hope that innovation and acessibility will find its way to Rolex

Wow smart move from Rolex. Think they look for a long time solution here. If I am not mistaken he will be only the fifth CEO at the helm of Rolex. Do you have already insight info who is going to replace him at Zenith??

Alexander, I have done some research and I want to tell you that you were among the very very first to provide this information on the web. Cool! When I first read the news this afternoon I could hardly believe it. Now as it is official, let me ask you: Will/can/may Dufour change Rolex? What do you think? Dufour is such a humble and nice guy, will he stay as he is or does he now have to play the role of an inaccessible and unfriendly Rolex boss?

Jeirci puts into words what came to my mind when I read this. I have an image of Rolex and I have an image of Jean-Frédéric Dufour. These two images do not match. One of them will change. On the one hand this is a threat. On the other hand it is a great chance. I am curious about the continuation of this story.
