Max and I looked back in the history of MB&F. Ups and downs are part of it. And we talked about the Swiss Watch Industry. His sincerity impressed me! A must to hear! Something you should not miss!
I taped these conversations already last year. Max is so hard to get during the SIHH or a Baselworld show. Max in general is hard to get, so it took us a while to finally meet in Geneva …
In the first part of our conversation we talked about the first ten years of MB&F, the ups and downs of the brand and its future …
His sincerity impressed me!
A short introduction:
In 2015, MB&F celebrated its 10th anniversary – and what a decade it was for the world’s first ever horological concept laboratory: 10 years of hyper-creativity; 11 remarkable calibres forming the base of the critically acclaimed Horological Machines and Legacy Machines for which MB&F has become renowned.
After 15 years managing prestigious watch brands, Maximilian Büsser resigned from his Managing Director position at Harry Winston in 2005 to create MB&F –
Maximilian Büsser & Friends = MB&F
MB&F is an artistic and micro-engineering laboratory dedicated to designing and crafting small series of radical concept watches by bringing together talented horological professionals that Büsser both respects and enjoys working with.
Part two was about his view on the Swiss Watch Industry.
What Max said last year, after seeing the novelties of the SIHH 2017 and getting the first previews of Baselworld 2017, has more meaning than ever.
It was definitively worth it waiting a little to air this conversation!
Guys, what Max said is so true!
On page 2 I posted 41 pictures of a Power Point brand presentation MB&F did to describe its first ten years in 2015.
If you open these pictures in a separate browser window during listening to part 1 of my conversation you will better understand what Max is talking about.
