We all remember Frédérique Constant being 2015 one of the very first Swiss companies to enter the field of smartwatches. I want your opinion! Do you possess one? Let us know how satisfied you are …
The new 2016 version of the Horological Smartwatch offered by Frédérique Constant comes with a 42mm highly-polished rose gold plated steel case and a navy blue dial that features applied indexes and roman numerals. A convex sapphire crystal protects the dial. The watch is waterproof up to 50 metres and finished with a blue alligator bracelet. The Frédérique Constant Horological Smartwatch is built with the MMT-285 calibre, and powered by Fullpower’s end-to-end MotionX® technology platform, with a battery life that will keep your Horological Smartwatch running up for two and a half years before replacement, without the need to be charged.
By combining technology and watchmaking tradition, the Frédérique Constant Horological Smartwatch took luxury and simplicity to a new level.
Offering hours, minutes and date, the “smart” aspect of this watch comes from its ability to accurately track your activity and sleep patterns. The smaller dial at 6 o’clock on the watch dial shows the percentage of your activity or sleep against your goal in real-time. This data is also displayed in the attractive MotionX-365® app, available for iOS and Android, with simple and easy to understand graphics to highlight how much one has moved and slept during the day, week, or month. The MotionX® high-accuracy end-to-end solution that includes firmware, applications and cloud infrastructure includes over 110 patents and encapsulates 7 years of research and development of a leading Silicon Valley technology leader.
Let me show yo another two pictures of the new 2016 version…
By the way, this is funny! Let´s have a quiz!
Find the hidden error!
There is a little but quite dramatic error in the picture below showing the 2016 version…
Do you see what I mean?
On this picture everything is ok … 🙂
But now the most important thing!
I am looking for end-user reports …
Who has worn the watch?
What can you tell us about it?
What about the app for iOS and Android?
In which way did the watch change you life / sleep / helath?
Would you recommend the watch to someone who is willing to optimize his way of living?
What is missing, what would you like to see more on the watch / app?
What is your general impression?
Not only are the time and phone types different but the activity meter on the watch doesn’t the activity tracker on the phone.
Beautiful watch. Shouldn’t the times on the smart phone and watch agree at least to the minute? 101% sleep, what does that mean?
Notwithstanding the previous comment, I would be alarmed if my watch said 10:10 and my phone said 14:23. That’s a lot of deviation!
Hello Alexander,
Yes, on your first photo it’s funny: the Android Top menue on the iphone not the ios grafics…
I like the design of the FC smartwatch but not the functionality: more or less motion statistics and heart- beat.
I then prefer a mechanical watch plus fitness band.
Best regards!
