Patek Philippe Reference 5524 Calatrava Pilot Travel Time
I presented you the Patek Philippe Reference 5524 Calatrava Pilot Travel Time early today and I this afternoon had the chance to take pictures … Have a look and let me know what you think…
Please click HERE to get more information about the new Calatrava…
These are the pictures I took this afternoon. The more I see the new Calatrava Pilot Travel Time the more I like it! Just stunning and absolutely the right decision taken by Patek Philippe President Thierry Stern to launch such a young and dynamic product… Well done! Later these days I will have the chance to speak to Patek Philippe President Thierry Stern and he will explain more about his strategy..
Always friendly and always in a good mood, that´s how I know Thierry Stern…

I believe PP’s intent was a departure from its expected norm and in that regard it works very well. It is a handsome watch and I would be proud to own one. It is growing on me the more I see it the more I like it.
PS: m.Stern please send some watchmakers to New York to clear their backlog. My Calatrava has been there for over six months and there is no promise date yet.

Lovely time piece! Hope I will be affordable by us mortals!

5370 is a stunner,5524 not so much.
I can see MR. Stern has been commenting here so I do say this with all due respect.
5524 does not look like Patek Philippe.
It looks like ZENITH. (and a bit like IWC).
I think Patek and MR. Stern has missed out on a great opportunity – designing a brand new model from a scratch is a great adventure, I
suppose even for Patek Philippe. Why was this watch not design like a true Patek Philippe? Why did you decide to be inspired by others instead of being an inspiration to others???
I love Patek Philippe, I strive and work hard to be able to own one.
Heritage, tradition, and certain design features are all what the watch buying is about. I do not want to own a Zenith(not that there is anything wrong with Zenith)for the price of Patek Philippe.
Sincerely,
Tom.

Alexander, many thanks for your comprehensive report about Patek. For me the 5524 is the most courageous piece in Basel. I admire the entrepreneurial spirit of Mr. Stern. Howewer, yes , the 5370 is the star in the new Collection, no doubt !
regards
Alexander and…. !!MAX!! !

Thank you !
We worked a lot for the new collection 2015 and I must say that the result is really nice.
But now we have to produce it !!!
Ps: my favorite one is the 5370. Very quite in terms of design, but so difficult to fabricate.
What is the price for this lady?
42.000 CHF
