I receive interesting comments on the new Hublot Jeans collection. The majority seem to like these high quality Swiss made lifestyle watches, but some also just don´t like them at all.
Guys, the Hublot Jeans are dedicated fashion watches and they do not aim to represent traditional watchmaking. Only Hublot has the legitimacy to produce and sell such trendy watches and Hublot has the clientele who buys such watches. That´s the way one should see the Jeans collection.
Based on an idea by Tina Zegg, the collection comprises three ladies’ Hublot Big Bang Jeans watches and one ultra-technical men’s diving watch, the Hublot Oceanographic 4000 Jeans, all of which incorporate a detail of Dsquared denim from Tina Zegg.
Tina told me in Samnaun: “An accessory that has remained on trend since its creation, jeans are still an essential fashion item. Chic, rock’n’roll, sexy, boho, vintage, urban, authentic, tie-dye… denim is whatever you want it to be, and an enduring wardrobe staple for men and women alike.”
