The DLC coating transforms the multi-zonetime chronograph almost into a stealth watch. Almost, since the watch is huge. The 46,6 mm deep matt black case houses a movement featuring three zone-time indications …
The Patravi TravelTec is known to be a superb travel companion. As the prior versions, the new black one is able to display three zone-times simultaneously. Two zone-times are displayed on the dial by the functions of the chronometer-certified CFB 1901.1 caliber. The third zone-time is displayed by a red 24-hour-hand on a rotating bezel. The push-piece at 10 o’clock position enables the wearer of the Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec to quickly and easily set the third zone-time to an eastern or western direction of travel.
The timepiece really is a cool one, but in my opinion Carl F. Bucherer should offer the deep matt black watch also with a corresponding deep black matt high-tech tissue strap or a rubber strap. With the massive steel strap the watch is quite heavy and bulky.
