Let me present you some pictures from the presentation of the new Atmos Hermès Clock

You were the very first to discover the new Atmos clock since I had all the information in advance and I could prepare an article already before attending the presentation. But now please enjoy my pictures taken this afternoon here in Paris.

Let us now enjoy the pictures and if you wish you may also listen to the conversation I had with Jerome Lambert, the CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. Jerome explained me the difficulties Jaeger-LeCoultre had to master to produce this wonderful Atmos for Hermes.

  • Interesting concept! I am an admirer of the Atmos system by JLC. For long, I have been a bit disappointed by the design, because it is too classic and not daring enough. This clock mechanism has a huge potential and I just think JLC has not done enough the fully exploit it. This makes a nice exception and might be a start to some more ?

On a strategic level, I am surprised by the collaboration of the two brands. Of course, they can argue that they had done it before. But this certainly sparks the rumors again that Richemont is taking an interest in Hermes…. We will see.

    • The design is question of taste… I personally like it. Concerning your thoughts that Richemont could take over Hermes, I can tell you Richemont would if they only could, but this was not the intention of this cooperation. And I can tell you I know the owner families Dumas and De Seynes and no one there is willing to sell the family business to anyone…
