The two new Geophysic watches are the talk of the town! Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Daniel Riedo will present you them. Click on “read more” to discover the watches …
At first sight you might think its a quartz watch. By no means, these watches feature the new True Seconds system from Jaeger-LeCoultre. The True Seconds system causes the seconds hand to move forwards while “beating the second”, meaning by performing a jump every second. The True Seconds mechanism involves a sophisticated construction whose effectiveness is expressed on the dial by a pleasantly rhythmical reading of the seconds.
The movements powering the two new Geophysic watches are the automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibres 770 and 772. They feature an atypical balance wheel with a non-circular configuration that required lengthy research in order to reduce air friction. Named the Gyrolab, this device was initially developed in a laboratory version back in 2007 to equip the Master Compressor Extreme Lab 1 watch.

It took eight years to transition from this confidential version to one that could be incorporated into an entire watch line. Geophysic is the first collection to enjoy the benefits of this breakthrough and its determining influence on the precision of a watch.
Daniel will now present you his new Geophysic watches:

So guys, this is NOT a quartz watch …
This is the proof!
Simply stunning! I love the True Second, really cool!

Once the universal time has been set, there is no need to adjust it while crisscrossing the world. Travellers need only adjust their own time. Local time is automatically adjusted simply by moving the hour hand in one hour steps forwards or backwards, of course independently of the minutes and seconds to as to avoid any loss of precision.

You might want to check the stated sizes of the cases and movement!
Why?
The fact is true sales dropped down in Asia. But this is a short term reaction I think. Economy will stabilze and the demand is still high.
@Alex: Why did you missed Richard Mille? Have been to the W&W myself and they had a huge range of products available which is something special because he just comes to two exhbitions worldwide. Mr. Mille himself has been there as well. The new Asia Edition was presented as well as the latest Nadal models and so on…
Thanks for the comment! Concerning Richard Mille I – and not only me – had the impression that the European press was not very welcome this time. RM seemed to have focused on the Asian press and clients … No worries I will come up with new stuff from RM later this year …
ok as I was private there he was very offen and friendly to me. So I am looking Forward to the Infos. Lets see if you know already the final looking of the new model with will come out…
When I was there Richard wasn’t anymore and the Asia-stuff does not know me … Next time maybe … 🙂
The Universal Time in SS is tempting….
Last week I visited JC boutique in Malaysia, informed the sale had slowed down in the last 12 months, hopefully with this new collection it will improve.
