Under the motto “Urban Survivor” Hanhart appeals to performance-oriented high achievers seeking adventures off the beaten tracks with its new limited special edition.
The black forest inspired design, which is limited to a quantity of 50 pieces, called the PRIMUS Survivor Pilot is an automatic watch, which accompanies those who seek a balanced life style of intense professional live and active leisure time. Nature is the place where they gain new strength and find their way back to themselves.
With the PRIMUS Survivor Pilot Hanhart combines its 130-year tradition with modern elements. The chronograph, like the entire collection, features Hanhart’s unmistakable distinctive trademarks, the red push button and the typical “bi-compax” display arrangement. The dial’s premium, bronze green finish is placed under the, on the inside anti-reflective, sapphire glass. The matte, sand blasted stainless steel case with its screwed-down sapphire glass case back grants the view to the movement and the skeletonised rotor.
A robust fabric strap featuring an ergonomic, sandblasted, stainless steel folding clasp complements the sportive appearance of the PRIMUS Survivor Pilot. Flexible lugs offer the wearer the highest comfort. The Arabic number twelve and the luminous indexes dominate Hanhart’s distinctive clean design, and ensure the best possible readability during day and nighttime.
The watch’s outdoor characteristics are clearly in the forefront and speak to those individualists, which make conscious decisions when purchasing a unique timepiece. “Urban Survivor” stands behind the philosophy of this new chronograph within the progressive style of Hanhart’s watch collection. Leaving the hectic of everyday life for a moment behind, and finding the necessary balance in nature and leisure.

Since its foundation in 1882 by Johan Adolf Hanhart in Diessenhofen, Switzerland, Hanhart had a major impact to the history of the watchmaking industry especially to the chronographs and high precision technology. As the manufacturer of the first reasonably priced stopwatches, Hanhart was one of the pioneers in the development of chronographs and stopwatches. Today Gütenbach, Germany based Hanhart is actively engaged in the aviation and motor sports world, developing high precision time measurement instruments and wristwatches. In 2012, Hanhart received for its PIONEER TachyTele model the most popular German award for new innovative watch models the “Goldene Unruh”. Today, Hanhart is characterised by its dedication to excellence. Its ambition is reflected in the partnership with the x-raid MINI ALL4 Racing Team, and their rally pilots Stephan Schott und Holm Schmidt, who both participated for the Hanhart team in the world’s most famous rally – Rally Dakar in South America. Hanhart is also collaborating with the race driver Florian Spengler and the aerobatic airplane pilot Claudius Spiegel. Both cooperation are the basis for a common mission to push the mechanical limits to its maximum and redefine them.
