Thank you for the post .
Without being overwehlmed with arrogance , I didn’t even bother to check the apple watch . Though i am unapologetically big fan of Apple products
You cannot replace the beauty and longetivity of mechanical and classical watches with gadget watches
UN IWC and BREITLING my fav from this above collection
Alex, touche! Enough of a gadet that claims to be a watch. I would choose any of this watches anytime against the fruit watch. My preference lies with IWC Portugieser. Surprised that you are showing the UN Vivaldi, since UN has many different two timezone watches?
Now you’r talking! (:
Thank you for this post Alexander! You know your audience. I was close to write my own article entitled “The smart watch hype”. I don’t get rid of the feeling that we watch afficionados are much less interested in these electronic gadgets than the watch industry seems to expect.
Thank god for this antidote…Enough of the silly Apple watch already!
the Lange is a masterpiece although at over 44 mm x 14mm it needs to go on a diet…
Love the Breva Genie 3 Anemometer. Very cool.
And as one of my hobbies depends upon wind, it would be useful as opposed to a geeky complication.
Yeah! I would take these watches any day instead of your Apple Watch.
Real mechanical marvels, bon appetite!
Touche Alex
Thank you for posting proper time pieces as opposed to that Dick Tracy /Mickey Mouse contraption!
Well…even if I wasn’t fed up with the “SMART” watch, I am now, a anemometer for heaven’s sake ! This is almost as funny as Panerai being Swiss !!
The IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calender is exceptional and I want one.
Generally I like UN’s work but I’ll pass on this one.
The Breca Génie 03 Anemometer is the perfect accessory for sales and marketing meetings.
And yes, I am very weary Apple if you did’t know already.
