Red Bull Stratos Project & Zenith. Interview with Zenith-CEO Jean-Frédéric Dufour

Zenith CEO Jean-Frederic Dufour

Good morning everyone! Here in Roswell the sun will rise in the next hour an we are waiting for Felix Baumgartner to start his Stratos project. He will first climb to 120.000 feet in a balloon and the jump back to earth.

Herewith we start our English section of the blog. Much more in English will now come every week… you can enjoy this article also in the English section of my blog. you just need to change the language…

While free fall Felix will reach supersonic speed and so be the first one to that. Outside his pressure suit he will be wearing a Zenith Stratos El Prrimero Chronograph. Together with his altitude gauge this are his only mechanical instruments he will use just in case. If all electronically devices will fail, he  will only have these two devices to time his free fall and afterwards to start the phase of descent with the parachute.

I just spoke to Jean-Frédéric Dufour here in Roswell and I asked him what special moment today is for him an Zenith.
