During the IWC media event, the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team driver participated in a watchmaking class and demonstrated his feel for technology and precision craftsmanship. I got a face to face interview with Nico…
During the following press talk with him and IWC CEO Georges Kern, selected journalists were given a deeper insight into the partnership between the two companies that have dedicated themselves entirely to precision technology and top-flight engineering.
So good so far … thereafter only very, very few journalists got a 1:1 interview with Nico.
I was amongst them! Here is my interview with Nico Rosberg, Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team driver…
Nico Rosberg and I yesterday at The Charles Hotel in Munich…

Nico Rosberg attending the IWC watchmaking class.
By the way, the IWC Spitfire Double Chronograph Nico was wearing in Munich was a present from his father Keke Rosberg, the 1982 Formula One World Champion, for his 21st anniversary.
So both, father and son, were IWC fans even long before IWC came on board of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team …

Thanks for the interview Alexander. Nico is one of my, if not my favorite, driver of the current F1 crop. Great to hear an extended relaxed interview with him as opposed to podium or pole day interview sessions.
Exactly which model of IWC wears Nico
I did not understood clearly
Thanks

Great interview – must’ve been a wonderful watchmaking class!
